It is now official: France-IX and Rezopole have merged!

First we would like to thank you all for your active participation in the voting process: your involvement has truly made possible this great step forward. The merger was largely approved by 95% of France-IX members and 94% of Rezopole members. We look forward to taking France-IX to the next level of growth all together!

Congratulations to Sarah Nataf who joins France-IX’s board and Christian Kaufmann, who is re-elected in these exciting times, and warm thanks to the other candidates for their participation in these elections. Special thanks to Clément Cavadore, Greg Villain and Jérôme Fleury for their involvement within the Board these past 3 years. More detailed information will come as we go forward, especially regarding the new services to be added to our portfolio, but we can already share the following next steps with you:

•    A second General Meeting will be held, again remotely, on Friday 29 January 2021 at 14:00 (Paris time, UTC+1): please book your agenda now. This Extraordinary session will be dedicated to the election of the 2 remaining seats within France-IX’s board. We indeed decided to split the Board elections in two in order to ensure equity with the Rezopole members, who are today integrated as France-IX members and thus will be able to cast their vote. We thus want to encourage as much as possible the Rezopole representation into the new board by allowing Rezopole’s members to support and vote for the candidates from their community.

•    The applications to fill these 2 vacancies will be open from Thursday 17 December 2020 until Friday 8 January 2021. All the information on how to apply will be published on our blog.

•    A few weeks before the GM all members who are part of the combined entity will receive their credentials to vote on the dedicated platform (Simply Voting).

In the meantime, we will work closely with both teams and all members, partners and suppliers to make the integration process as smooth as possible.
